Recipe: Chocolate-Dipped Weed Cherries You Will Not Find Even in the Best California Dispensary

Equipment Needed

Double boiler

Wax-paper-lined plate

Small bowl (optional)



¼ cup cannabis coconut oil

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 cup milk chocolate chips

24 cherries with stems (washed, dried, and pit-free)


  1. Set up the double boiler. A tip here: Pour water into the bottom pan so that the top pan is a little bit above the water line.
  2. Bring the water in the double boiler to a boil.
  3. Once the water starts to boil, put cannabis coconut oil in the top pan. A tip here: Keep the double boiler at low heat. Remember that overboiling is bad for any mixture that contains marijuana.
  4. When the coconut oil starts to melt, add milk chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips.
  5. Stir the mixture until all the ingredients are completely combined and melted.
  6. While the chocolate and coconut oil are melting in the double boiler, prepare the cherries and the wax-paper-lined plate so that they are at hand.
  7. Once the chocolate mixture is ready, turn off the heat and remove the top pan.
  8. Dip the cherries in the chocolate mixture holding them by the stem one at a time and place them carefully on the wax-paper-lined plate. Make sure to save some chocolate for the next steps.
  9. When all cherries are covered with chocolate, put them into the refrigerator for 60 minutes A tip here: Do not put the bowl with the chocolate mixture in the fridge. You can use a smaller bowl for pouring out the remaining chocolate mixture because it will make the process of dipping easier.
  10. Warm up the chocolate mixture in the microwave if necessary.
  11. After 60 minutes, remove the plate with cherries from the refrigerator.
  12. Dip the cherries in the chocolate once again.
  13. Put them in the refrigerator for 60 more minutes before serving.
