Recipe: Homemade Cannabis-Infused Alaskan King Crab

To make this recipe easier for you to follow, we have divided it into four parts (Alaskan king crab, sweet avocado puree, cantaloupe, and cilantro brown butter). Each of them has its own list of ingredients, so be attentive before making up a shopping list.

Ingredients

Alaskan King Crab:

1 pound cooked crab legs

Sweet avocado puree:

2 ripe avocados

Pinch of salt

Cantaloupe:

½ ripe cantaloupe

2 ounces activated cannabis-infused tincture

Cilantro Brown Butter:

¼ pound unsalted butter

1 lemon

4 tablespoons cilantro (minced)

Instructions

  1. Remove cooked crab from shell, cut legs into 3-inch chunks.
  2. Save any knuckle meat and put it aside for a while.
  3. Pit avocados.
  4. Put the avocados into a food processor or blender.
  5. Add a pinch of salt.
  6. Blend until smooth.
  7. Transfer the avocado puree into a medium mixing bowl and put it aside.
  8. Dice cantaloupe and put it in a small mixing bowl.
  9. Add activated cannabis-infused tincture and let the diced cantaloupe sit for 5 minutes.
  10. Place 3 tablespoons of the infused cantaloupe on each serving plate.
  11. Place the knuckle meat on top of the infused cantaloupe.
  12. Put 1 3-inch crab chunk on top of knuckle meat.
  13. Place 3 dollops of avocado puree on each plate next to the crab.
  14. Chop butter into 8 pieces.
  15. Put the pieces of butter into a pan.
  16. Let the butter cook until it turns brown and tastes nutty.
  17. Put the melted butter aside but keep it warm.
  18. Squeeze juice out of a lemon and add it to the melted butter.
  19. Add minced cilantro.
  20. Spoon brown butter over crab to taste and serve.
