We will make these cheddar scones potent by infusing them with high-quality water-based hash, which is optional, and cannabis-infused butter. These ingredients can be found in any nearby dispensary. However, if you want to make cannabis-infused butter yourself, here is an easy recipe to follow.

2 medium mixing bowls

Electric mixer

2 small mixing bowls

Shredder

Rolling pin

Baking sheet

Parchment paper

Ingredients

4 cups and 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons baking powder

2 teaspoons salt

3 and ½ sticks cold unsalted butter

4 tablespoons cold cannabis-infused butter

4 extra-large eggs

1 cup cold heavy cream

½ pound extra-sharp yellow cheddar

1 cup minced fresh dill

1–3 grams water-based hash (optional)

1 egg

1 tablespoon water or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Put 4 cups of all-purpose flour into a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Add baking powder and salt.
  4. Dice regular butter and cannabis-infused butter. Add it to the flour and powder mix.
  5. Use an electric mixer to combine the ingredients. A tip here: Use a low-speed mode.
  6. Once the butter turns into pea-sized pieces, turn off the mixer.
  7. Put eggs into a small mixing bowl and slightly beat them.
  8. Add heavy cream.
  9. Mix the ingredients and quickly add them to the butter and flour mixture.
  10. Blend all the ingredients.
  11. Shred cheddar and put it into a separate medium mixing bowl.
  12. Add dill and 1 tablespoon of flour.
  13. Toss the ingredients and add them to the butter and flour mixture.
  14. Now, you can add hash to the dough if you want.
  15. Mix the ingredients until they are combined.
  16. Flour the kitchen surface.
  17. Transfer the dough from the mixing bowl onto the floured surface.
  18. Knead the dough for 1 minute. A tip here: Make sure that cheddar and dill are well distributed.
  19. Use a rolling pin to roll a ¾-inch-thick dough.
  20. Then, cut it into 4-inch squares.
  21. Cut each of the squares in half diagonally to make triangles.
  22. Put 1 egg into a small mixing bowl.
  23. Add 1 tablespoon of water or milk.
  24. Mix the ingredients.
  25. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  26. Spread the triangles on the lined baking sheet.
  27. Use a brush to top each triangle with the egg and milk mixture.
  28. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
  29. Bake the scones for about 20-25 minutes.
  30. Once the scones are crusty outside and fully baked inside, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
  31. Let the scones cool down a little bit and serve.
