Recipe: Homemade Cannabis-Infused Shepherd’s Pie

Tips Before You Start

Today’s weed pie is very delicious and potent. The recipe for this dessert does not require special equipment or ingredients. All you need is to visit any nearby dispensary and buy some high-quality cannabis-infused butter. You can also make your own cannabutter following this simple recipe.

Green Ganja Garlic Smashed Potatoes:

1 and ½ pounds potatoes

1 pound parsnips

1 head garlic

1 and ½ tablespoons salt

4 tablespoons cannabis-infused butter

Black pepper (to taste)


1 and ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

1 medium onion

1 garlic clove

1 pound chuck beef (ground)

¼ teaspoon dried thyme

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon flour

10 ounces frozen mixed vegetables

Salt (to taste)

Pepper (to taste)


  1. Cut potatoes into chunks and put them into a large pot.
  2. Peel and cut parsnips into chunks and put them into the pot as well.
  3. Separate and peel garlic cloves; add them to the parsnip and potato mixture.
  4. Cover the vegetable mixture with water and place the pot on the stove.
  5. Turn on medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Once the mixture starts to boil, add 1 tablespoon of salt and reduce the heat to medium-low.
  7. Simmer the mixture for about 15 minutes.
  8. When the potatoes, parsnips, and garlic are tender enough to smash, remove the pot from the stove.
  9. Drain the vegetables and reserve 1 cup of the cooking water.
  10. Transfer the vegetables to a large serving bowl.
  11. Put cannabis-infused butter into a small saucepan.
  12. Begin to smash vegetables, slowly adding the melted cannabis-infused butter.
  13. Add ½ cup of the reserved cooking water to make the mixture thinner.
  14. Season with ½ tablespoon salt and pepper to taste.
  15. Add ¾ cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  16. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  17. Chop onion and put it aside for a while.
  18. Mince garlic and put it aside for a while, too.
  19. Place a large pan on the stove and turn on high heat.
  20. Put beef into the preheated pan.
  21. Use a metal spatula to cook the beef.
  22. Once the meat is gray, add the chopped onion and minced garlic.
  23. Cook the mixture until the onions are soft and lightly browned for 4 to 5 minutes.
  24. Add thyme, ketchup, and flour.
  25. Stir the mixture to combine all the ingredients.
  26. Add ½ cup of the reserved cooking water and frozen mixed vegetables.
  27. Cook the mixture for 3 to 5 more minutes.
  28. Once the entire mixture is warm, season it with salt and pepper to taste.
  29. Put the beef and vegetable mixture into a casserole dish.
  30. Make an even layer of the beef and vegetable mixture.
  31. Top it with the mashed potatoes.
  32. Make decorative patterns with the help of fork tines.Top the dish with the remaining cheese.
  33. Put the casserole dish into the preheated oven.
  34. Bake the pie for 15 minutes.
  35. Remove the pie from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  36. Serve.
