Recipe: Homemade Gourmet Hash Oil Chocolate

It is hard to find a sweet marijuana-infused dainty that tastes better than chocolate. Some popular weed strains, like, for instance, the OG Kush strain, have a piney chocolate smell, but it is hard to compare it to the taste of the hash oil chocolate we are going to cook today. While any OG strain is a real pleasure to smoke, some marijuana patients prefer treatment in the form of weed edibles. That is why weed-infused chocolate is so popular. Moreover, you can use it to cook other sweet edibles.

We need to warn you that we are going to make a chocolate bar from scratch, so it will not be as easy as simply melting chocolate chips.

Tips Before You Start

The chocolate we are cooking today does not require any special ingredients or equipment. Moreover, you will not need to buy any marijuana. That is why, if you have some of your favorite Alpha OG strain left, you can smoke it to set your mind on the cooking process. Nevertheless, you will have to stock up on 10 grams of high-quality hash oil, which you can find in any nearby dispensary. If you are ready to start, let us see what we need.

Equipment Needed

Double boiler

Baking dish

Whisk

Saucepan

Non-stick cooking spray

Ingredients

1 cup cocoa butter or coconut oil

1 cup cocoa powder (Dutch processed)

½ cup honey/sugar/maple syrup

¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

10 grams hash oil (fully activated)

Instructions

  1. Take a double boiler and start melting the cocoa butter in the top pan. A tip here: You can use a saucepan instead of the double boiler. If you would like to do it with the help of the saucepan, use very low heat. It is very important not to burn the butter, that is why a double boiler is a preferable option here.
  2. Take a whisk and stir the melting butter.
  3. Once the butter has completely melted, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a cup of cocoa powder. A tip here: It is better to add half of a cup and whisk the mixture, then, add the second half and whisk once again.
  4. When the cocoa powder is fully incorporated with the butter, add honey or maple syrup. A tip here: You can also use sugar, but syrup or honey are better for the entire consistency.
  5. If you decided to use nuts, put them in the saucepan and toast them.
  6. Once all the ingredients in the double boiler are mixed together, reduce the heat and let the chocolate cool down a little bit.
  7. Then, add the hash oil to the chocolate.
  8. When the nuts are toasted, add them to the chocolate mixture as well.
  9. Now, turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down.
  10. Take a baking dish and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  11. Pour the chocolate mixture into the baking dish. A tip here: Try to make the layer even and thin.
  12. Cool the chocolate for several hours. A tip here: If you do not want to wait for so long, place the dish in the freezer and wait for 30 minutes.

Now your hash oil chocolate is ready, and you can start enjoying it. However, we have to warn you that this sweet dainty is very potent, so consume it responsibly. Start with ⅓ of a serving and avoid getting behind the wheel afterwards for the reasons of safety. Remember to keep the hash oil chocolate away from children and pets.

We hope you liked our recipe. Enjoy your high!
