Tips Before You Start

This cheesecake is a 15-servings dessert, so it would be perfect for parties or gathering with friends. You do not have to buy any special ingredients, except for marijuana products. Despite the name of this cheesecake, you do not have to choose among various kush names. While many kush strains, like, for instance, Shiatsu Kush, provide your body and mind with a nice high, the desserts are usually made with the cannabis butter. If you have ever used cannabutter for cooking weed edibles, you know that it is the most convenient and efficient option. So, the only thing you have to do is to visit a nearby dispensary and buy some cannabutter.

Our recipe is divided into three parts to make it easier to follow. Each part (crust, filling and topping) requires a separate set of equipment and ingredients, so keep this in mind while making a shopping list. Ready? Let us start!

Cheesecake Crust

Equipment Needed

Blender/Food Processor

Baking pan (13 x 9)

Heavy duty aluminum foil

Non-stick cooking spray


11 oz package vanilla wafers

½ cup pecans

½ cup cannabis butter (melted)


  1. Use a blender or food processor to turn the wafers and pecans into crumbs.
  2. Then, add the melted cannabis butter and blend the ingredients for a few seconds more to let them thoroughly mix.
  3. Take the baking pan and cover it generously with the aluminum foil. Do not be afraid to use as much foil as you need. Remember to cover the edges too.
  4. Spray the foiled pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Then, pour the crust mixture into the pan.
  6. Clean your hands and use them to press the mixture around the whole area of the baking pan. The crust should be finely crunched.

Cheesecake Filling

Equipment Needed


Standing mixer/Hand-held mixer

Large mixing bowl



3 8-oz packages cream cheese (room temperature)

½ cup sour cream

4 eggs

1 and ½ cups sugar

1 and ½ teaspoons vanilla extract


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Take a mixing bowl and add cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Use the mixer to whip the ingredients. The mixture should be fluffy. A tip here: If you do not have a mixer, you can use a large fork. However, using a fork is not recommended.
  4. Continue mixing the filling and start adding one egg at a time.
  5. Once all 4 eggs are totally combined with the filling, pulse the mixture 2 times more to make sure the mixture is ready.
  6. Now, pour the filling over the crust.
  7. Use a spatula to level the top of the filling.
  8. Put the baking pan into the oven for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Within 45-50 minutes, turn off the oven, open the oven door and let the cake sit in the oven for 15 minutes more.
  10. Within 15 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and let the cake cool down.

Cheesecake Blackberry Topping

Equipment Needed


Small bowl


12 oz blackberries

2 oz blueberries

¼ cup water

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon organic cornstarch

½ lime


  1. Squeeze the ½ of a lime and set the juice aside.
  2. Take the saucepan or skillet and add blackberries, blueberries, sugar, and water.
  3. Turn on the medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. After the mixture starts to boil, cook it for 4-5 minutes more.
  5. Take the bowl and add the cornstarch.
  6. Pour 2 tablespoons of water and mix the slurry well until it gets smooth.
  7. Then, add the slurry to the mixture on the stove.
  8. Let the slurry and berries boil for 1-2 minutes more.
  9. Add the lime juice and stir the mixture well.
  10. Now, remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool down.
  11. Once the topping is completely cooled down, pour it over the cheesecake.
  12. Then, put the baking pan with cheesecake into the refrigerator for 2-5 hours. A tip here: The longer the cheesecake stays in the refrigerator, the tastier it gets.
  13. Now you can remove the cheesecake from the pan and cut it into 15 even pieces.
