Recipe: Homemade Marijuana Caramel Sauce

Equipment Needed

Coffee grinder

Double boiler with a lid and a glass top pan

Kitchen thermometer



3.5 grams decarboxylated marijuana or 1-2 grams hash/kief

1 14-oz can condensed milk


  1. Use a coffee grinder to powder marijuana. A tip here: The consistency of the ground marijuana should resemble flour.
  2. Set up the double boiler. A tip here: Pour some water into the bottom pan so that the top pan is a little bit above the water line.
  3. Turn on high heat and bring the water to a boil.
  4. Open a can of condensed milk.
  5. Pour the condensed milk into the top glass pan.
  6. Once the water starts to boil, lower the heat.
  7. Then, gradually stir the ground marijuana in the condensed milk. Use a whisk to combine the ingredients.
  8. Once all of the marijuana is combined with milk, cover the top pan with a lid.
  9. Let the mixture simmer for 90 minutes. A tip here: Do not forget to check and stir the mixture occasionally. Make sure there is no mix left on the sides of the pan. Remember that the mixture should not exceed the temperature of 170 degrees. Use your kitchen thermometer to control it. The longer you cook your caramel sauce, the darker and thicker it gets, but be careful not to burn it.
  10. Once the mixture is ready, remove the double boiler from heat.
  11. Whisk the mixture until it gets smooth.

Now your potent and tasty marijuana caramel sauce is ready. You can use it to top any dish you want. Do not forget that the caramel sauce you have made is a marijuana-infused edible and should be consumed responsibly. Keep it away from children and pets.
