Tips Before You Start

First of all, you need to buy chickpeas that are also called garbanzo beans. They are very healthy and are known to regulate the digestive system and reduce the risk of heart attack and even cancer. Infusing it with marijuana is a great idea, so we are going to use some cannabis-infused canola oil, which you can find in a dispensary.

The homemade marijuana hummus we are going to cook today is a 4-servings appetizer. The recipe is very easy, so do not hesitate and start!

Equipment Needed

Food processor/hand-held blender

1 15-ounce can chickpeas

½ cup fresh spinach

¼ cup tahini paste

2-3 tablespoons cannabis-infused canola oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1-2 teaspoons ground cumin

½ teaspoon minced garlic

Salt (to taste)

Pepper (to taste)

Olive oil (to drizzle with)

Cumin (to sprinkle with)

Assorted dippers and chips

  1. Open a can of chickpeas.
  2. Drain chickpeas but save the liquid.
  3. Place the drained chickpeas in a food processor. A tip here: If you are going to use a hand-held blender, use a mixing bowl to place all the ingredients in.
  4. Chop fresh spinach. Put it in the food processor as well.
  5. Then, add tahini paste, cannabis-infused canola oil, fresh lemon juice, ground cumin, and minced garlic.
  6. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth.
  8. If the mixture seems to be too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of the chickpeas liquid.
  9. Garnish the mixture with some olive oil and cumin.

This appetizer is to be served with some kind of dipping material. It is better to use flour tortillas for this purpose. They are very easy to make. Spice them up with some cannabis-infused canola oil or the regular kind and add cumin. Then, bake them at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or so. You can also use another dipping material you personally prefer.

You can keep this homemade marijuana hummus in the refrigerator for about 5-7 days.

We hope you liked our recipe. Do not forget that this appetizer is marijuana-infused and should be consumed responsibly. Do not eat too much at once and try to avoid getting behind the wheel after enjoying this potent homemade hummus for the reasons of safety. Remember to keep this dish away from children and pets.
