Tips Before You Start

Our homemade weed bread is made with 5 grams of marijuana and guarantees you a steady high. All you need is to buy weed at any nearby dispensary. You can choose any indica, sativa, or hybrid strain, for example, Middle Fork strain. By the way, Middle Fork is known for its chill-out and uplifting effect. However, you can choose any other weed strain you like or need. Moreover, if you already have some decarboxylated active marijuana, you can use it in this recipe.

The weed bread we are going to cook is a healthy dish that is made without using butter, oil, sugar, or fat. It is a great medication for patients that lead a healthy lifestyle.

Equipment Needed

Oven-safe ramekin

Mixing bowl

Aluminium foil

Wire rack

Cotton cloth

Dutch oven / Metal pan with lid

Cling film

¼ teaspoon active dry yeast

5 grams weed flowers (without stems and seeds)

3 cups all-purpose flour or 2 cups white flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour

Cornmeal/wheat germ/flaxseed meal (for dusting)

1 and ¼ teaspoon salt

1 and ¾ cup warm water

  1. Take marijuana flowers and grind them. A tip here: All seeds and stems should be removed beforehand.
  2. Take the oven-safe ramekin. Put the ground weed flowers into it.
  3. Cover the top of the ramekin tightly with aluminium foil.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
  5. Put the ramekin with marijuana into the preheated oven for 60 minutes. A tip here: If you already have decarboxylated active marijuana, you can use it for this recipe and skip the previous steps.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour, or 2 cups of white flour and 1 cup of whole wheat flour, salt, yeast, and marijuana using a whisk.
  7. Warm water to 110 degrees.
  8. Pour the water into the flour mix and whisk it thoroughly.
  9. Take cling film and cover the mixing bowl with the dough in it.
  10. Choose a warm spot to leave your dough in for 12-16 hours. A tip here: The dough should be kept in the place with 76-80 degrees temperature. It will make your dough rise and double in size.
  11. You will know the dough is ready when you see small bubbles on its top.
  12. Clean the surface and flour it. Do not forget to clean and flour your hands too.
  13. Now you should form a ball from the dough by folding it 2-3 times.
  14. When you make a ball, place it with the seams facing down on the cornmeal (you can also use wheat germ or flaxseed meal).
  15. Dust the top of the dough with one of three listed meals too.
  16. Carefully put the dough in a cotton cloth.
  17. Keep the dough aside for 120 minutes to let it rise a little more.
  18. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees with a metal pan or Dutch oven in it. A tip here: You should do it 30 minutes before you are ready to bake.
  19. Take the pan or Dutch oven out of the oven. A small tip here: Do not forget to use oven mitts to avoid scalds.
  20. Carefully put the dough into the pan with the seam side facing up.
  21. Cover the pan with the lid and put it in the oven.
  22. Let it bake for 30 minutes in the pan with the lid and 5-10 more minutes without it.
  23. When the bread gets crusty, remove it from the oven.
  24. Put the bread on the wire rack and let it cool for 120 minutes or more. When your homemade weed bread cools down, you can cut it.

As you can see, the recipe is quite easy. If you have the time and the willing, you will certainly enjoy making it. Bon appetit!
