Recipe: Homemade Weed Seared Chicken With Mushrooms

Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts (without bones and skin)

Salt (to taste)

Pepper (to taste)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons cannabis-infused olive oil

2 tablespoons shallots (chopped)

1 cup quartered mushrooms (any varieties)

Sprigs of fresh rosemary

2-4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2/3 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Put chicken breasts on your work surface. A tip here: Make sure your work surface is clean.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a large skillet on the stove.
  5. Pour regular olive oil into the preheated skillet.
  6. Once the oil is hot, sear the chicken breasts in it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Then, turn the chicken breasts over and sear for 2-3 more minutes.
  8. Put the chicken in a baking dish.
  9. Place the dish into the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
  10. Meanwhile, let the skillet cool down.
  11. Then, pour cannabis-infused olive oil into the skillet.
  12. Add shallots and saute them in the oil for 3-4 minutes.
  13. Then, add mushrooms and saute for 5-7 more minutes.
  14. Once the mushrooms are tender, add rosemary, lemon juice, and broth to them.
  15. Let the mixture simmer.
  16. Once the chicken breasts are ready, remove them from the oven.
  17. Transfer the chicken to a large plate.
  18. Spoon the mushroom sauce over the chicken and serve.
