Recipe: Marijuana Lemongrass Chicken Skewers

8-12 stalks lemongrass/metal or wooden skewers

Medium mixing bowl


4 large chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)

2 lemons

12-16 whole mini-peppers

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1-2 tablespoons cannabis-infused oil

1 tablespoon chopped bell pepper

1 teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon Aleppo pepper

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

1 garlic clove

1 teaspoon coarse black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

Juice of ½ lemon

Romaine lettuce leaves

Red lettuce leaves

Green lettuce leaves


  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Poke mini-peppers through with a skewer. A tip here: The holes will make it easier for you to string the peppers on the lemongrass stalks and not break them. If you are using wooden skewers, do not forget to soak them for about 60 minutes before using.
  3. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch chunks. Poke them through with a skewer as well.
  4. Slice lemons.
  5. Place the chicken pieces, lemon slices, and mini peppers on the skewers.
  6. Finely chop bell pepper and put it into a medium mixing bowl.
  7. Mince garlic and put it into the bowl as well.
  8. Add yogurt, cumin, Aleppo pepper, black pepper, cannabis-infused oil, ground ginger, and salt.
  9. Then, squeeze lemon juice into the mixture.
  10. Combine all the ingredients.
  11. Grill the prepared skewers on the preheated grill.
  12. Once the chicken is white and the juices run clear, remove the skewers from heat.
  13. Serve the skewers with the sauce and the lettuce on the side.
  14. Cover the chicken and peppers in the lettuce leaves and enjoy.
