Cliff Robinson, also known as Uncle Spliffy, debuts his new line of marijuana products in Oregon. Uncle Cliffy Pre-rolls will soon be available in numerous cannabis retailers across the state. The former NBA star appeared at Oregon’s Finest to promote his goods.
Robinson’s pre-rolls contain Gorilla Glue #4 (indica) or J1 (sativa). Uncle Cliffy’s goods are made from organically grown weed produced by Portland’s Pistol Point Farms. The herb was cultivated using a 50/50 blend of coco and “super soil.”
Together with the city commissioner Chloe Eudaly and Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, Robinson showed active support for weed reform in Oregon. They endorsed the law known as SB-307, which would allow using cannabis in lounges. Uncle Spliffy also supported the herb’s legalization in Connecticut, as he had played basketball for UConn in the past. He called on the officials to free cannabis and “take the handcuffs off the plant.”
The NBA star was suspended for using marijuana three times. The player experienced a minor brain hemorrhage last March but soon released a statement for his fans that said he was fine and in the recovery process. However, the ailment left Robinson with some paralysis on his left side.
Robinson began his career in Portland Trail Blazers in early 1989 and played for several NBA teams for 18 years. When Uncle Spliffy left the NBA in 2007, he became a weed advocate.
