A 60/40 indica-dominant hybrid, the Lost Coast OG strain (by Emerald Triangle) is a combination of Chemdawg 4 and two heirloom strains, Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush.
Like most OG strains, Lost Coast OG has the flavor of sour lemon and earthy musk and an intensive pungent and dank aroma. The high level of THC, which is 26% on average, makes this hybrid very potent. It provides you with a strong cerebral buzz that puts you in an uplifting state and fills you with creativity and desire to talk a lot. The euphoric state gets more and more intensive with every exhale. However, when consumed in large doses, the strain may trigger anxiety, so newbie consumers should be careful with this weed.
Generally, you can expect Lost Coast OG to calm your nerves and soothe your stressed mind. That is why it is a great option if you are dealing with PTSD, Crohn's disease, nausea, inflammation, and even painful sensation associated with cancer.
The strain has rapid vegetative growth, so you can start the flowering mode earlier than with most indoor plants. The temperature should be slightly cooler than for other indicas, around 72-77oF/22-25oC. The colas are usually massive and require additional support, so trellis or SCRoG would be quite suitable for growing Lost Coast OG. It will take it 8-9 weeks to finish flowering when growing indoors, and you can expect your outdoor plants to be ready for harvest by late September. The strain's buds are dense, mostly forest dark green, abundantly frosted with milky trichomes.
